Your privacy
Privacy Policy
Effective September 22, 2026
Jans Poshak LLC ("Jans Poshak," "we," "us," "our") operates the online store at jansposhak.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have kept it plain.
1. Who we are
Jans Poshak LLC, a Texas limited liability company. For anything about your privacy or your data, contact us at info@jansposhakllc.com or 737-260-1949.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Your email address, when you sign in. We use passwordless sign-in — a one-time link is emailed to you — so we never ask for or store a password.
- Your name, shipping address, and phone number, when you check out.
- Your order history, wishlist, and any store credit on your account.
- Anything you write to us by email or our contact form.
Payment information — handled by Stripe, not by us:
We do not collect or store your card number, security code, or bank details. Checkout is processed by Stripe, Inc. You enter your payment details on Stripe's own secure page, and Stripe shares back with us only what we need to fill your order — that the payment succeeded, your name and shipping address, and the card brand and last four digits for our records. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically:
- Like most websites, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- When you sign in, we run a bot-protection check (Cloudflare Turnstile) that reads signals from your browser to tell real people from automated abuse.
- Your shopping bag is stored in your own browser (local storage) on your device. It stays on your device until you check out.
- We count how many times each piece's page is opened, so we know what to buy more of. The count is ours and stays with us: a page view adds one to a number stored against that piece, that day, and whether you arrived from a search engine, from social media, from elsewhere on our own site, or directly. Nothing is stored that could say who you are — no name, no account, no IP address, no session, no record of which pages you personally looked at, and never the address of the page you came from.
- So that a page you refresh is not counted as another person, your browser keeps a short list of which pieces it has already counted that day. It never leaves your device and is forgotten when the day changes.
- If you reached us through a link shared by one of our affiliates, that link carries a short code identifying them. We keep that code in your own browser for 30 days so that, if you buy something, we know who to credit. It records the affiliate, never you: it is not linked to your name or your browsing, it is not shared with anyone, and the affiliate is never shown who you are — only that a piece was sold and on what day.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels. Our page counts are our own: no analytics company receives them, and there is nothing in them to receive. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not follow you around the web.
3. How we use your information
- To take, process, and ship your orders, and to calculate shipping and any sales tax.
- To send you transactional emails: your sign-in link, order confirmations, shipping and tracking updates, and replies to your questions.
- To manage your account, order history, wishlist, and store credit.
- To handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the store secure.
- To see which pieces are being looked at, so we order more of what people want — from counts only, never from anything about you.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use only what the store needs to work — no advertising or analytics cookies:
- A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in. It is essential (the account area will not work without it) and is HttpOnly and Secure.
- Your shopping bag is kept in your browser's local storage as a convenience.
- A short list of which pieces this browser has already counted today, so a refresh is not counted twice. No cookie, and nothing that identifies you.
- Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token when you complete the human check at sign-in.
- An affiliate referral code, if you arrived on an affiliate's link, is kept in your browser's local storage for 30 days. Clearing your site data removes it, and nothing else changes if you do — prices, delivery and your rights as a customer are identical either way.
Because we run no advertising or analytics cookies, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time — you will simply be signed out, your saved bag cleared, and any affiliate referral forgotten.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the store, and only as needed to do so:
- Stripe — to process payments.
- Resend — to send our transactional emails.
- Cloudflare — for website hosting, database storage, and security and bot protection.
- Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) — to deliver your order and provide tracking.
- Shippo — to compare what each carrier would charge to send your order. It receives only the city, state, and ZIP code the order is going to — never your name, street address, email, or phone number.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of our customers.
6. How long we keep it
We keep order and account records for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (in the US, tax records are generally kept for several years). You can ask us to close your account and delete data we are not legally required to keep.
7. How we protect it
Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe under the PCI-DSS standard; they never reach our servers. Your connection to our site is encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in is passwordless, so there is no password of yours to be stolen. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to close your account — just email info@jansposhakllc.com.
California residents: we do not sell, and do not "share" for cross-context behavioral advertising, your personal information. You have the right to know, delete, and correct the personal information we hold, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights (CCPA/CPRA). Contact us using the details above.
9. Children
Our store is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "effective" date above and, for significant changes, note it on the site.
