From Indian ateliers, one suitcase at a time.
Jans Poshak is a small family-run venture. We started with a simple observation: the pieces we loved most never came from a warehouse — they came back in suitcases, chosen one at a time from makers in India whose embroidery you could feel with your fingertips.
So that became the business. We source directly from Indian ateliers in small batches — silks, muslins, georgettes and crepes with real handwork — and bring them to the US. No endless racks, no lookalikes. A short list of pieces we would wear ourselves, offered while they last.
