The yoke is worked in fine silver-gold thread on a warm taupe that holds a soft sheen, and the same gold comes back as a scalloped band at the kurta hem and again at both trouser ankles. The dupatta breaks all that warmth with a cool grey-blue — slubby and see-through, small gold buti scattered over it, a wide woven gold border and little tassels along the end.
